A 19-year-old man allegedly beat up a 'lone rider,' on a CTA bus, sparking the rider to pull a gun and fatally shoot him, authorities said. An associate of the 19-year-old then allegedly returned fire, shooting the driver.
Fifty-three people, including nine juveniles, were arrested early Monday in the 3000 block of North Clark Street. A 15-year-old was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and was cited for having a firearm silencer.
The production positions being cut are at its home base in Moline and two factories in Iowa.
